Firefighters On A Mission’s Fundraiser

Benefitting: Wheeler Mission
Event Fundraiser: 2018 Wheeler Mission Drumstick Dash

For the 7th consecutive year, firefighters from fire departments across Indiana team up with Wheeler Mission to help get a knock on homelessness in Indianapolis. The group will be participating in the Drumstick Dash in full turnout gear and SCBA, carrying a tool or section of hose. Thanks to your generosity, we raised $2,319 in 2017. This year, our goal is to raise $3,000 to help fight homelessness in our city! Donate to this cause and be a part of providing food and shelter to those less fortunate during the coming holiday season.

Leave the comment "FIREFIGHTERS" on the donation page for a chance to fly 100 feet above Broad Ripple in the bucket of an IFD ladder truck before the race. Three lucky winners will be randomly selected Thanksgiving week. Check it out!!

About Wheeler Mission

Wheeler Mission helps the homeless in Indiana. Wheeler is a non-denominational, Christian, social services organization, which provides critically needed goods and services to the homeless, poor, and needy of central and south-central Indiana without regard to race, color, creed, national origin or religion.

Wheeler is not a church, but does cooperate with many different churches that are concerned about poverty and homelessness in the inner city. Founded in 1893, Wheeler is the oldest continuously operating ministry of its kind in the state of Indiana. With nine locations, dozens of ministries, a budget of over $11 million, and 180+ employees, Wheeler is also the largest and most diverse ministry of its kind in the state.
